CASEY DONOVAN

Winner of Australian Idol

Casey is a teenager who was thrust into every lounge room in the country when she won Australian Idol at the age of 16. Now a couple years on, Casey is facing the challenge of her life. Casey has always been told she was 'born to be fat' and that there was no chance she'd ever lose the weight. Consequently, she gave up on herself.

With help from health & fitness expert Guy Leech and his team, Casey has set about proving them all wrong and improving her health, fitness and quality of life.

HER PROGRESS SO FAR:

Reduced waste from 146 cm to 123 cm
Sleep Apnea has disappeared
Cut out soft drink and fast food
No carbs after lunchtime
Much more positive attitude
2 scheduled exercise sessions a week
Increased incidental exercise
Tries to maintain 70,000 steps a week

NEXT STEPS:

Guy and Casey will both be walking the 9 Km course of the Sydney Running Festival on September 23rd 07.
